New guideline for Anapen administration
A quick one today. The TGA (Therapeutic Goods and Administration) has released a change to the http://www.ruralandremotefirstaid.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Survival-First-Aid-Kit-new-1.jpgistration time of the Anapen.
The guideline is now to ‘hold for 3 seconds’ instead of the previous 10 seconds. This brings it in line with the guideline for the Epipen.
This is regardless of the dosage of the Anapen, 150, 300 or 500mcg.
